The Most Common Signs of Hyperglycemia (High Blood Sugar) Include
1. Frequent Peeing Particularly at Night
If you are suffering from diabetes, or blood sugar then you will spend most of the time in the toilet. In diabetes, the excess of sugar, builds up in your blood, because our pancreas does not produce enough ‘Insulin’ hormone. Another important thing is that our kidney can’t filter and reabsorb the blood properly so it eliminates most of the sugar in the blood through urine. Frequent urination is one of the most common signs and symptoms of hyperglycemia.
2. Increase in Thirst
As we know, when the sugar concentration in the blood is high, the kidney cannot absorb and filter the blood. In results, the kidney eliminates this sugar through urination continuously. When you are urinating frequently it may lead to dehydration. So you will feel more thirsty to drink more water. As you drink more fluid, it leads to urinate more.
3. Increase in Hunger
When there is no insulin in your blood or insulin is not working properly the body cell will not get required energy. To fulfil this energy our body may react like feeling more hungry.
4. Weight Loss
When our body does not produce enough insulin to provide energy to the body cell, our body breaks down our muscle tissue and fat into energy. In results it may lead to weight loss.
5. Tiredness, Fatigue
Actually, insulin is a key which allows glucose to enter the body cell. If the body does not produce enough insulin, or there is no insulin in the blood, the glucose will not enter the body cells to provide them energy. Hence, no energy means feeling tiredness and fatigue.

High glucose in the bloodstreams may lead to swelling eye lenses and becoming cloudy. This problem is temporary, so do not go for buying a new pair of glasses as soon as you notice blurry vision. When sugar levels increases in the blood, leads to a weak immune system and the ability to recover from infections also get affected. So there are chances of skin and vaginal yeast infection also increases.
